The jacket is cut in a princess-line to allow for fullness to cover the dress skirt. The sleeves are Pagoda style. The jacket is collarless. The entire jacket is heavily braided and has frog closures. (See Photo Gallery)

Day/Camp Dress-The basic dress for camp or day wear. Kept simple, it is the perfect style worn in the military camps. It can also be trimmed more lavishly for day wear. This dress has a tight bodice with a front closure and dropped shoulders. The sleeves are long and fitted at the wrist. The skirt is full, but not as full as a Ball Gown. It is made of cotton and is worn over a petticoat. It can be worn with hoops under the skirt for day wear or without hoops under the skirt for camp wear.(See Photo Gallery)
